Civil War U.S. Sanitary Commission Quilt Reproductions by Don Beld 3/12/13 – 8/18/13
150 years ago during the American Civil War, Northern women made and donated thousands of quilts for soldiers to use in the military hospitals and in their camps along the battle lines. Don Beld, hand-pieced and hand-quilted faithful reproductions of these rare quilts. His recently donated quilts will make their IQSCM debut in this exhibition.
